The plot revolves around a perverted school student called Issei Hyodo, who dreams of being a harem king. A harem king is a man who acts with bravado and leads their team into battle. He is then drowned in the praise and affection of women because of it. Hyodo is killed on his first date by what is revealed to be a fallen angel. Rias Gremory then brings him back to life as a Devil to serve her.

It’s a remarkable story of angels, devils, fallen angels, and everything else in between. High School DxD Season 5 will hopefully bring back some of the magic that made the earlier seasons so impressive, the show’s got everything you’d want from a supernatural series. The show has continued to grow in popularity and has gained a cult following since its 2012 debut.

With many fans eagerly awaiting the High School DxD Season 5 release date, everyone is beginning to wonder how the story will continue from the fourth installment.

The last few seasons saw their fair share of tribulations with the anime show being switched to a new studio because of how unhappy fans were with the source material’s adaption.

Spoilers Ahead!

After years of beating around the bush, Rias, and Issei finally confess their love for each other. Issei beats Sairaorg in the final round of the rating game, and his new “Queen” armor upgrade turns red to Red Dragon Armor. This is obviously the same color as her hair and a final signifier of his love for her.

Highschool DxD season 5 is likely to continue along these lines with the other girls in Rias’ house, undoubtedly becoming jealous and attempting to sabotage their relationship.
