Made in Abyss, written by Akihito Tsukushi and published by Takeshobo is a popular anime series. Made in Abyss is an adventurous, dark fantasy and sci-fi series that first aired from July 7th to September 29th, 2017. After the first season, it became a huge hit and now fans are waiting for a Made in Abyss season 2 to be released.
The Made in Abyss Plot
Made in Abyss follows the story of an orphan girl named Riko who discovers a robot who looks exactly like a human. Reg (the robot) and she become friends. Riko and Reg end up falling down a hole called the Abyss. The story involves Reg helping Rico find her mother and navigate out of the tunnel that leads deep into the Earth.
Made in Abyss Season 2 Release
Although it’s still not confirmed when season 2 of Made in Abyss will be announced, most sources have a scheduled release date of April 11, 2020. Due to the issues surrounding the film industry and Covid-19, the series has been postponed. It’s been nearly 3 years since the last series was aired on July 7, 2017. We can expect the new season to be released before December or early 2021.

What Could Happen In Season 2
The ending of the first season has set up season two of Made in Abyss to follow exactly where we left off. The story should continue to follow Riko and Robot Reg as they make their way down the tunnel and fight of dangers they encounter with the mission to find Riko’s mother.
