Possible Plot For Marvelous Mrs Maisel Season 4
WARNING *SPOILERS*
Season 3 ended with Midge arriving for Joel’s grand opening. She does a short gig but encounters technical difficulties. Susie loses Midge’s earnings by gambling on sports, so she turns the handling of Midge’s finances over to Joel. So, to repay all of them, Joel commits insurance fraud by burning down their deceased mother’s house.
Later, Midge is reunited with Shy at the Apollo Theater and she’s starstruck when she finally gets to meet Moms Mabley, but she is let down and stressed about the crowd potentially resenting a white comic. Midge doesn’t know Shy is gay and Midge’s gay-inferred jokes nearly “out” him. When both Midge and Susie later get to the airport, Reggie lets them know Shy has dropped Midge from the tour. They’re distraught and try to make things right but are left on the tarmac as the plane takes off.
We expect season 4 to start off with both Susie and Midge at a low point while the duo try to climb their way out of the hole they got themselves into. Season 4 should be a rollercoaster ride as Midge makes her way into the spotlight again and finds success on her own while going against the grain and pushing the boundaries of what a female comedian can do on stage. Each season shows Midge evolving and coming into her own and Season 4 shouldn’t disappoint!
