The finale of Orville Season 2 aired back in April 2019 and it’s been a year since fans of the show have heard anything about a season 3. The good news is that season 3 is on the horizon, however, there have been some changes to the new network’s organization.
Is There A Season 3 of Orville?
In May 2019, Fox confirmed an Orville Season 3, and fans of the show figured that the series would return over the winter months, yet some changes have occurred. Seth McFarlane has gone back and forth with parties within Foc and confirmation of the third season couldn’t be made until the end of 2019, in December.

Latest Release: When Will Orville Season 3 Come Out?
In September 2017 Season 1 of The Orville premiered and Season 2 came out in December 2018. Hulu has since come into the picture and claimed to air the popular sci-fi comedy show, but there haven’t been any updates yet. No one can clarify is season 3 will be on Hulu in 2020, and Seth MacFarlane isn’t certain either.
The Orville Season 3 Cast
Hulu will air Season 3 of The Orville and the cast will consist of:
- Seth MacFarlane (the producer of the show) will come back as Captain Ed Mercer.
- Adrienne will return as officer Claire Finn
- Scott Gaymes as Penny, and
- Johnson Gerald as Heelsman Gordon Maloy

The Orville Season 3 Spoilers
Identity Part II would like to be explored more by Goodman but in the wake of Isaac’s choices the Identity has Isaac going dim and Orville will attempt to revive him. Isaac ends up coming back to life, but there’s news that his shipmates find out. The planter’s inhabitants have grown up to kill the biological race that spawned them into life to begin with. After getting control of the Orville, robots have the same plan for Earth.
